On boarding
We first meet online or face to face to build our relationship, discuss and understand your Australia business plans and structure and to explain and agree the scope of services and fees. We pride ourselves on a culture of building solid and long-lasting business relationships.
The next step is for us to undertake and complete compulsory customer due diligence (CDD) also known as KYC, and various assessments, which must be completed satisfactorily before providing any services (and an on ongoing basis). This is to comply with Australia’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Act (2006) and if relevant New Zealand’s Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act (2009)).
We outsource CCD/KYC document collection, to ensure it a seamless and easy upload process for clients, to a market leading AML/CTF third party provider.
The final steps are to provide our due diligence questionnaire, which must be completed satisfactorily, and send a services agreement for comment and execution once agreed.
The onboarding process is typically quick and easy, taking approximately 2-3 weeks to complete.
We offer all services and are engaged by clients as an independent contractor under our services agreement.
We rely on the parent company D&O insurance, and it being adequate for the nominee director and public officer and related services being provided.
Where requested or required, we can recommend a range of lawyers and trusted experts which would be a good ‘fit’ for your size business, including providers of company incorporation, corporate secretarial, tax and accounting compliance services. We work seamlessly with all service providers.
